Problem with XP & Lexmark printer
 
has anyone had trouble with Lexmark printers with Windows XP? i just upgraded from ME and have installed, uninstalled, and re-installed the drivers several times, but no luck. it acts like the printer's not online or not plugged in, but that's not the case...

any suggestions, or should i just contact Lexmark?

Make sure you have the latest driver for their printers. The ones shipped with XP and the Printers themselves sometimes have problems.

I had to physically move my Lexmark X63 from one computer to the other because of USB problems with it. However since I moved it, it has been working fine for all of my computers.

thanks for the reply. i tried downloading the driver from lexmark.com (supposedly for XP), but same thing happened. :(
