Funny, how I go through the process of finally figuring out to activate this account so I can get it deleted and get my real account's name changed to this one.

you could always ask someone from the vb team to rename you... :rolleyes:

I've had that a few times at my board, someone reregisters proclaiming that they've changed their name.

They are all suprised when I tell them there was no need :p

Well, it's kinda hard to rename me when an account when the name I want already exists. ;)

That account was registered before I got vB, and when I put it in the box in the vB Member's area, it still gave me no permission and I figured out that it wasn't activated. So I registered this name and have been using it ever since...

you should write a pm or email to one of the admins, only they can delete/rename accounts

LOL ... but it's fun deleting out all the attempts, had one member who for no apparent reason had five goes at registering. Finally just activated an account, deleted the previous five, and renamed the surviving one. He then sent me an email claiming some one had already taken his desired username :knockedout:
