Making vB my front page

Total newbie here. Have only had vB a short time though love it.

I have a site called goTitans.com which is a football fan site for the Tennessee Titans. We currently use a vB message area which has quickly become our most popular area. I'd like to find a way to make it even more of a featured area by either having new messages from my board appear on my front page or making vB my actual front page and somehow incorporating news into it.

Problem is, I am a graphic designer and not nearly as experienced to do what I envision here. Are there any sites out there that use vB in a way I describe here where it is the front page? Is there a way to just pull new posts from vB to other areas of the site? Any sites one can show me? Tutorials?

FYI: I design my site on a mac with GoLive. I had to have help installing vB though set up what you see myself. So I am somewhat limited as to what I can do.

Thanks for any insight or help. :D

Go check out vBHome Lite - the portal hack winning the hack of the month so far. :) Support forums are at www.teckwizards.com

Erwin,

This looks EXACTLY like what I am wanting to do.

Since I am very green with this sort of thing, is this hack available to vB members now? Will vB have people available to install/set up for a reasonable fee? I really wish I knew more about this stuff.

Thanks for your help.

TECK is the man to talk to - he is the developer for vBHome Lite. You can talk to him about installation etc. PM him - TECK.
