Username Trouble Please Help
 

I am admin of my own board and just recently noticed that when people register to my board using characters such as ' , . / : - and other stuff the people get this error when going to the message board

There seems to have been a slight problem with the website database.

I dont no what to do to fix this. I would like to solve the problem by allowing my members to use these characters than to just have to change there usernames to something else that doesn't need those characters. Please help me. Thanks.

Have you installed some hacks, which affected the register.php or login-parts of your board?

if yes, you should remove them.

try to upload the original member.php and register.php
