Should the vbHome (lite) file be moved to the support forums?

I opened a dedicated forum for vbHome (lite).
Let's see if users recommend to have the zip file moved there.
That will prevent pirates to remove the copyright.

Not at all..

I think it should stay here on vbulletin.org because at least then we have the first layer of protection stopping unlicensed members..

Then if licensed members distribute the hack you have the password protection on the zip file..

Its much more reliable to keep it here at vbulletin.org and also i can't be bothered to go along to the dedicated forum for vbhome (lite) and check on the updates all the time :)

Thats my honest opinion :D

Yes:)

@Mist - Even if the liscenced users do distribute the hack, they will send the password with it, as they know that it requires one...

actually, the file is in a forum where only licensed members have access. :)
i think i will leave the 3.5 version here but the new releases will be posted on the members area forum on my web site.. let me know what you think.

Sounds like a good idea:)

I dont like it at all..

Like i said ... if this is FOR vbulletin... lets keep AT vbulletin instead of making users goto your forum..

I think thats unfair :(

Hey Mist, its Teck's script, and if he sees that vbHome will be better supported there, I think that is in the interests of everyone who runs vbHome, to get better support, instead of being restricted to 1 thread in 1 forum with hundreds of pages.

All I got to say is go for it Teck

I think that sounds fair enough.

If vBPortal can do it, vBHome can do it too. :)

Yes but i dont think that teck has enough time or resources to add all the excellent features of vbportal (well what ive seen on their dev site anyway :))
