Admin CP Login Idea
 

I think it is a totlal pain in da ass to log into the Admin CP every time I go in, welL I was thinking maybe you could make a drop down box for all the admins (so once you make them admin they are atuomaticly added to the drop down list thingy then when you go to ..../forum/admin/index.php it would have the Username: (then the drop down box with all da admins) and then a break and then Password: ______ (keep that so that the admins have to type dat in (duh) I think alot of people would use this, and it would save me a hell of a lot of time (so I dont have to put in The Legend of Speedy every time i go to the Admin CP (this would also be nice for the Mod CP, but I realy dont give a damn about dem :D (jk)

Cetainly doesn't help security wise. It gives a nice list of all the users with permission to access the CP.

well if the Admin folder is password protected that would get ride of that :P

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if the admin folder is password protected, causing you to login - why would you not just continue to log in as normal?

Security really should be the number one priority of an Administrator.

b/c i have it saved as a password so i dont have to type it, and to type The Legend of Speedy is a pain in da ass, plus its a nice little feature, if not thats all fine, i just thought it was a good idea thats all.

Ah. I see. I suppose you could use some sort of .htaccess or .htpasswd file to have a popup box (saved password, encrypted offsite) and bypass the admin login, somehow.

But I'm not one to speak of such things. ;) Sorry 'bout that.

Can you set up IE to auto-fill in forms, so that your username shows up in a dropdown list when you type in the first letter?
