Where should I go
 

About the only thing I know how to do is add forums, edit them, smilies, colors and all the silly things.. I'm now faced with html and whatever else goes on with a site. I used to have a hack on my site, but when my tech left, he took all the cool stuff too.

I "just" learn how to add a carousel, so I'm still so very far from being good or even holding my own. Where would you point someone like me ? Even if I'm just adding buttons.. I have no clue how to do that either.

vb.com isn't being much help and I knew I did have a hack from here.. Would someone mind telling where to get this info please ?

Well, most of the hacks come with easy install instructions.
so all you have to do is to follow the instructions step by step.

believe me, it's really easy, and if you have isntalled some hacks, you'll get quite familiar with it, and can try to implement greater ones with db-changes and whatever...

the best hint for you is to read the hacking hints and tricks forum here, you'll find nearly everything there..

when I'm told to "upload" where and what do I use for that ?

I'm assuming that's my host.. but I'm not sure how to access or what I need to access it :ermm:

you need a ftp-program to upload files to your server..

i think erwin has released a ftp-vb-hack, but you need to upload this also ;)
