The famous can't login email
 

Hi.
I get an unusual amount of emails from users saying they can't login.
Here is one I received a few minutes ago.

I have been trying to log in and it acknowledges me logging in but then takes my back to the log in screen.

One thing that worked for some is I would go into their preferences and change two things.
No for browsing board with cookies and no for remembering username and password.

I have 6830 registered members. The overwhelming majority are able to use the boards without a glitch. I'm concerend about the few who can't post.

If users cannot stay logged in, you should turn their "Remember username" and "Browse board with cookies" to ON, get your user to switch cookies ON in their browser, get them to CLEAR ALL cookies, then log in again. That should work.

I get a few users with this issue. Including a one particular one who can't post replies at all, no matter what I change on this account. He keeps getting "no thread specified"

Many emails arrive to me saying "FIX IT PLEASE" !
