Recycling Bin Hack?
 

A hack where if a thread is DELETED, it automatically re-appears in the recylcing bin forum. I don't want a simple change in function, ie. the function where you delete a thread changes so you move it to a certain forum, leaving the MOVED: prefix and so on...isn't it possible to do it from within the PHP ;)

Anyway, just wondering, has it been done?

Neo was sort of working on this, I think it reached beta levels and has a few probs IIRC.

All you really need to do is copy the Move thread without redirect code and replace the delete code in its place with a few minor tweeks ;)

Umm, NTLDR, do you think you could release such hack? Ie. something along the lines of what you said, so it doesn't show the moved prefix on deleted threads, but they still get moved to the forumid which I either specify in adminCP or in the php file?

It says 2.2.6 I don't know if this fits your needs or works with 2.2.8, if not I'll try and look into it tomorrow :)
