if image put between [img] tags is too wide then display as link

probally already made but i am having no luck finding it, this hack wood b great use to me as i hate wen people put in images too wide, i dont wont the image not to show atall if it is too wide i jus wont a link displayed to the image in a new window ! is this possible , if so pls help . cheers :banana:

It's not easily doable as the server would first have to download the image, check its size (requires the GD library), then reparse the bbcode.
