Search can find private forums threads!!
 

Hi guys,

I noticed that privare forums titles and subjects can be found by search!!

how can I dsiable the search for not show any threads in any private forums?

Try logging out before you search. ;)

The reason why it shows up for you is because you are an admin and have access to these forums. Registered members and guests won't see them. :)

Hi. I'm trying to make it so when a registered member does a search, it "does" come up in the search but not viewable when clicked on. Is that possible?

just take a closer look on the forum permissions

there is a permission can view forum one can view other users threads and one can search forum.

just set it up correctly and you're done :)
