Search through thread
 

Hi,

Say for example i was a newbie to installing hacks and i installed the store hack for arguements sake.

Lots of people make regular mistakes when installing and get errors.

Now fair enough..

I go to click the search button up the top and type in the error and it comes up with the store hack thread in my search results...

Now the problem is with a thread that long that i have to search all the way through it to find the error which is very time consuming.

Now my idea is to have some kind of link in the search results to go to all instances of that search criteria appearing in the thread it has come up with.

Or maybe a 'Search in this thread' link somewhere in the showthread template if the page numbers are more than 'x' pages :D

There's no need since we can get results by post rather than by threads.

Not because it's my hack, but I find "download thread" hack useful to download long threads like these into your computer as a text file, and browse in a text editor with high and fast search functionality..
