Article topics like in vbPortal
 
G'day all,

I've searched in vain for a hack that will allow for sorting articles in specified forums (like the news, features, and reviews forums at my site) into topics or categories, like what vbPortal had.

Clicking through to the topics page would bring up a list of topics, each with their own graphic. Clicking on one of those would bring up a list of every article put into that thread (via a dropdown list of topics on the newthread or editpost pages) with a short preview of each.

Does any hack like that currently exist for non-vBPortal forums? If it does, can someone throw me a link, please?

If it doesn't, would anyone be willing to give it a go?

This doesn't exist... yet. :) Someone may be able to create it.
