Hacks and Styles question

If I have a hack installed on my default style that works properly, but doesn't seem to show up on a different style, is it because that different style doesn't support that hack, or do I have to go in manually somwhere to activate it?

If a hack involves a template edit, then ya, it won't show in the new style until you edit the template or templates in that style.
