Why was my thread closed?

Do that again, and you won't be able to post here anymore, understood?

*closingthread*

Why do you refuse to read the threads there?

Steve Machol 10-26-2002 04:46 AM

We reserve the right to close threads that involve unnecessary rudeness and name-calling.

ya, kids these days, no manners.

sbryan 10-26-2002 05:45 AM

gee. that was a direct comment on my own php skills, not someone else.

sorry if my australian sense of humour was missed on all of you.

Chris M 10-26-2002 09:41 AM

Well...Unfortunately, we didnt know you were Australian, that it was a joke, or that it was directed at your php skills...

sorry for any misunderstanding.

theres a few things i would like done to my forum and require some help as i am not a programmer.

Chris M 10-26-2002 11:53 AM

thatd be great. is it best to discuss it here or via email? what do you think?

basically i just want a star rating system put into my forum. not for threads, but based on post counts for each user and another major project that needs a bit of thinking ;-p

Chris M 10-26-2002 12:44 PM

Probably in the Requests forum is the best place to discuss it:)
