Errors with newthread/newreply/newprivatemessage/etc on same page
Hi all,
I'm wondering what the general feeling is on a hack that would move any errors in posting a new message onto the original page with the submitted content already filled in below. For example, if you supply the wrong user name and password while posting a message you'd get a screen similar to the following: Error: You supplied an incorrect username/password combination. Please correct below and resubmit: Username: Me Password: ***** Subject: I was posting this message Message: Hi this is the message I just posted. It's great that I don't have to worry about no-cache headers any more :) No more lost posts! Opinions? Comments? Suggestions? Has anyone tackled this yet? Paul |
That would be quite useful :)
