Postcard Script
 

Hello all, I'm just about to start working on a new and original (for vB anyway) hack idea. It's an E-Postcard script which will support all image formats, as well as flash, and maybe some other wonderful little goodies such as midi music in the background, etc...

I have got two questions for you wonderful people here at vB.org as to how you think it sould work.

The first is, do you think I should make it a members only hack?

The only reason I ask is because i'm sure that most other postcard sites on the web don't require any regestration, only a name and an email address - and in most cases they use the postcard system as a forum of promotion. (i'll probally make it with the option of turning members only on and off)

The second question is, do you think the actual postcard the viewer received should use the forums header and footer, or a diffrent header and footer

Yet again I ask because some sites might want to set-up the postcards to have no adverts on it, or a diffrent header - for whatever reason.

If a few of you could gimme some feedback on this, i'd apprechate it.

(keep your eyes on the site for a release b4 the weekend is over)

Yes of course :D

1/ members only - definately... why should should the owner of a site pay to help the members do things without them helping you out a tiny bit

2/ yes i think it should use the forums header/footer :D
