non-vb login page
 

Hi,

Ive been looking for a Non-VB welcome/login page that would work when GUESTS are not permitted to view the forum.

Ive tried various hacks thoughout this board but none of them work. Ive tryed editing the hacks but not knowing PHP well doesnt really help lol.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

You mean you want it to display the standard no permission error if a guest visits your site? Or have I read it wrong?

I would just like a hack on my main page like the other welcome hacks on this site ie greets you if you're logged in or gives you a login form if you're not. Theres various hacks already like this one:

But unfortunatly none of these work. The reason being the forum is set so that you have to login to see the forum, ie guests are not permitted to view the forum.

If your request is for a non-vb page, check WebTemplates.

If you are asking this for your forum main page, well it already has it, doesnt it?

But unfortunatly it doesnt work. When I enable Guests to view the forum it does work but this is not what i want. So I need it to work when guests are not permitted to view the forum.
