Allow SuperMod to See who's Online, even hidden users

Hi

I have some supermodos asking to be promoted to admin, because they simply can not see the hidden users on the Who's Online page..... By default, only an admin can.

Is there any way, any hack, or any setting, to allow this ???

Edit online.php,

find

PHP Code:

if ($bbuserinfo[usergroupid] == 6) {

(There are 2 occurences, you should change the second one)

and replace it as:
PHP Code:

if ($bbuserinfo[usergroupid] == OR $bbuserinfo[usergroupid] == 5) {

Not tested but should work..

BTW. Mods might come after you if you dont shorten that sig. FYI. ;)

Logician is right twice :)

1. His code is correct

2. your sig is to long.

Please short it to 4 Lines normal size or 8 lines with font size=1
Thank you

I tried to look in the showthread.php for a similar code to modify in the same way to let the super mods see the hidden users ALSO on the forum home page, but I did not find any .... :ermm: :ermm: :ermm:

if you want to change it on forumhome you have to look at index.php ;)

well you can find most of the rules in the announcement forum
There is no other place (at least for now) to look for rules, i hope we'll change that ;)

once again thank you Xenon, but I tried this and it did not work...

I looked for this
PHP Code:

if ($bbuserinfo[usergroupid] == 6) {

and found it only once in index.php at about line 190.

I replaced it with
PHP Code:

if ($bbuserinfo[usergroupid] == OR $bbuserinfo[usergroupid] == 5) {

as suggested by logician earlier.....

uploaded the index.php, but it did not work.....

only admin can see hidden users online on the home page....

any thoughts ????

A "Full Release" hack has already been released for this here

If you are using 2.2.6 or newer,go to post #48 of that thread and download the attachment. (modsseeinvisible2.2.6.txt)

I'm currently using it on 2.2.8.
