PHP Help
 

After being on these forums for sometime now, and witnessing the power of PHP and how great it is, I REALLY want to learn it. Does anyone know of good resources with tutorials, beginner's lessons, etc. Any websites to learn at, and books to read. Also, if you have any pointers, they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help :)

Well, i don't know resources for you, just german ones...

But i've a tip: Best way to learn is by doing.
I've completly learned PHP with vb.
First just add a few small hacks, look how they work, then try to make your own small hacks really small...
All you nead is experience by doing something you also need.
I think tutorials aren't so good, you learn standart things, but you really learn if you code something YOU want :)

Well yeah, but I think I should still learn the basic syntax. I mean, I know this;

And I know if you use "echo" in some form you can print text on the screen. Other then that, I know nothing ;)
