Support Forum hack installed
 

We have installed the Support Forum hack by g-force2k2 and applied it to the Support forum here. Users, once your question(s) have been answered, please click the Mark Answered link next to the New Thread / Post Reply buttons so your thread is marked as being answered.

I agree.. IMO Request Forum is now as useful as Full Releases section as it includes many hidden solutions (even full hacks) in it. Since it's covered full time by some of us, many people even tend to ask their "non-request" questions there. So applying G-force's hack to request forum will be very nice..

BTW. maybe you would consider either one:
a) adding the tag "Un-answered" after the title and in a smaller font
b) display the tag for only answered threads
c) Use 2 small icons like ? for unanswered and ! for answered
etc..

Another idea: There can be a small link in the new mail notifications of these forums that thread starter receives which will automatically turn the thread tag to "Answered" when clicked. This might save the user to login to site and click to the link there..

Logician thank you for the idea... i was thinking of doing something similiar based upon the idea of the full releases support message... i was also thinking of makin an addition for something in the usercp similiar to the subscribed threads & forums... i'll see what i can do...
