Administrating Attachments

Hi Guys,

Is there some way that I can place a photo inside of a post after it has already been created?
I want administrators to be the only persons allowed to post attachments in forums.
Is there a way to do that?
I tried to add a photo to a post that has already been created by a member but it didn’t have the upload field for attachments.

Can you help me?

solboy... about the administrators only being allowed to attach... just edit the usergroup permissions in the admin cp to allow only Administrators to attach images ;) regards... hope that helps...

I already have those settings in place.
What I want to do is have the ability to place photos in other member’s posts after they have made them. I want the attachments to be visible (not a hyperlink that leads to a new page).
Thank you for the reply.

In Control Panel

click on Vbulletin Option
then on:
Attachments
then on:
View Images
Do you wish to display attached images in the threads? Select no to just generate a link to download the image.
tick yes :)

you are done attached images will show as images

Thanks for the reply but I did tick yes and it still brought up a link.
I am sure there is a way to do this.
If there was a way to upload attachments after a post has already been created that should work.
A way to uplod attachments when editing a post.
Like I see here now in this forum.
