Question about security
 

I'm getting ready to purchase vBulletin. My one question is slightly confusing. Firstly, I want the forum to be private. I already have 300 members on an ezboard set-up and I would transfer them via an e-mail notice to my new vBulletin site. However, I also want a subset forum that would require a separate registration password that I can issue. So I guess in essence, I would have sections (forum topics) like you have here with an added layer of password protection for just one which would be a paid membership only kinda thing. Is this possible?

Password protecting forums, catagories is not avalible in vB2, however is a standard feaure of vB3. You can however create a new usergroup for paid members and allow only that group access to those forums.
