I installed the chat box and got great help from Teck in the chat. Im still having an error when im trying to config in the Admin CP.

After i added the Teck cut and paste to my index.php this is the errors that i get. Any help would be great.

Now if i use this URL http://209.151.86.221/dsscanuckforum/shoutbox.php

All i get is a blank screen. IM getting very confused here.....

go to your server and check if php has writing permission to this file..

should be chmod 777 i think

Ok, im sorry for the stupid question but how do i do that exactly? It said during the installation that it was aborted cause it was already installed.

But when i go to that url it goes blank. But if i use my other link to the site it has me signed in already. Seems that the first link signs me in but doesnt take me anywhere.

well with your ftp program you should be able to change permissions for this file "shoutbox_config.php"
depends on your program how to do it...

btw. if you post a link you should always create a test account...
all what we get is no permission please log in ;)

Im not using an FTP client. should i be? i was using one and it expired:-(. The account that i set up is SuperHu. Feel free to use but but once u enter it goes to a white screen as if nothing is there.

Yes you should use a ftp client..
but you can do that also with ie: rightklick on file and the properties...

btw.
test account password would be nice ;)

ok i got the ftp client... to re add everything again and override them all? and should this me in my main directory or the admin? My index file for the main board is not in the Admin folder.

just change the file properties so it is editable by php

btw. your testaccount seems to be in a banned group, every page produces a no permission ;)

have to go now...

Ok i changed it to registered rather than bannedLOL. I will change the php file but its there. I get a main page for it. but it wont finish loading. It goes into a blank screen after u do the username and password.
