Hack to help Upgrading VBulletin

I saw a few people talking about a hack or rwo around here that will help in upgrading a vbulletin that has alot of hacks. I am installing like 150 hacks and really wouldn't want to upgrade and have to reinstall all of them. Does anyone know what the name of this hack is?

There is no such thing right now... You should reapply all your hacks to your board...

I use Araxis Merge when I'm upgrading. It's a great help.

I saw FireFly or someone talking about a merger hack or something.

If you have 150 hacks on your board I wouldn't upgrade and reapply all the hacks, I would just apply the changes in the new vB version.

Are they all found in the "upgrade20.php" file?

To upgrade, you really need to copy the PHP files that are changed, then run upgrade20.php to make the appropriate database changes (there is a new table in 2.2.7).

As for a merger hack, it doesn't exist. Araxis Merge does have a "merger" feature, but don't use it - you need to use Araxis Merge or Beyond Compare properly by manually looking at each code difference to figure out which goes where.

well, you could apply the database changes yourself (so none of you own tables/data will get lost and also edit the changed files yourself (adding the new code or replacing things)

Nevermind I found it. It is FireFly's template backup system.
