any way to have a group as moderator

I have been looking to find a hack that would let me have a group to be the moderator for a forum. I have several people as moderator and I am tired of all the names and would like to have just one group in the list.

If this has already been answered I am sorry I did search and found nothing that truely fit this need.

I haven't ever seen a hack like this.

But, I could try to hack one.
