Changing a users username?
 
The owner of yaxay did this somehow with my username so I'm requesting a hack to do this or at least someone tell me how to do it if a hack isn't required.

I would want something like....

changing k33nny -> BIGBOB4FINGERS

No hack required. Just pull up the user's profile in the Admin CP, type in the new name in the User name box, then save the changes. You should also update the counters when your done.

What does updating the counters do exactly... like I need to update ALL the counters?

Updating the counters will make sure the new user name shows up on all the posts made by that user. I think you only need to update the forum info and thread info.
