I wanted to ask you about the smilies...

Do they "belong" to vbulletin.org?

If so, I'd like to add them in to my smilie collection on my board, but I figured if they belong to here, I'd ask first :)

http://www.darkproject.com/Icons/Icons.htm look there, click on download next to the smilies and it will come up with a message, basically it says you can't make money from them in anyway or edit them so they're free to use :)

It also says that you can't use them on websites without his permission ;)

they are not free of use. i made made those smilies for vb.org and i asked permission to Dark to allow me use them because he specifies this, to email him first. he answered me and granted me the permission with certain conditions, that's why vb.org have those icons. email him and ask him.

Well if you'd like a ton of smilies, you can snag some from my board, we have over 500 LOL!

with due respect to the artist of vb.org smilies: I dont like them. They are not clear enough to bear the emotions and I believe vbulletin's default smilies are much better and clearer. No offence to anyone, just declaration of a personal taste..

I enjoy these smilies quite a bit, their style is unique so to say, compared to common smilies..

Although I don't personally use the smilies on my website, as smilies that is, but I have them on use for my mood hack, and they add nicely ^^
