deleting posts..
how can I delete all posts from a user that is deleted? :surprised:
|
finally an easy question :)
Admins Cp - Threads & Posts (left hand side category) --> Mass Prune --> Prune by username |
it says this..
Code:
You are about to delete all posts and threads from all forums by one of these users. Please select one: |
do you remember the userid? if not then find one of his posts then search for it in phpmyadmin and search out the userid... if its changed to zero then simply run this query...
PHP Code:
g-force2k2 |
Note you will also need to remove any threads by them:
[sql]DELETE FROM thread WHERE postuserid=0[/sql] |
Quote:
g-force2k2 |
I hadn't thought about that, allthough somewhere allong the line I think it will go wrong no matter what you do, and there will probably be posts left that arn't needed.
The morral of the story, prune before deletion ;) |
