post formatting ...
I don't know if anyone every try phpbb2, but its formatting style is much simpler than that of vbb ... I was just wonder if there is a hack/modifcation that would make vbb formating style similar to that of phpbb??
What I want to do is that ... when I want to make a text bold ... all I have to do is write it out, highlight it, click on the B button (the vbcode) and the [b ] and [/b] are automatically inserted at the beginning and the end ... respectively ... this is very helpful when editing a post ... because all you have to do is hightlight and click the buttons ... Anybody have any idea of how it can be done? |
i believe that vb3 is using simliar features in a number of things when its released :p but you can always just click on the bold button and then copy and paste and same effect :p just my input of course...

id like the vb3 template system to be the same... its so easy to navigate... the thought of a new system for when i "Possibly" upgrade scares me :(

i dunno... but i think that php may be included in the templates for vb3... but im not positive... if so expect changes... fortunately or unfortunately ;) regards...
