Help my thread views have stopped working!
 

I installed Zajakos minimum post hack and total new threads of the day hack and it stopped showing thread views. Can anyone help? I have uninstalled these hacks but still nothing. HELP mE!! :(

i doubt it was Zajakos hack... but maybe you delete some important coding? i will take a look at my files and see what i can come up with... regards...

Yeah something.. i dont know. I never edited the showthread file... I appreciate your help bro.

The hack was the one that made a minimum character post count to hinder spammers.

Ok, well i fixed part of it, but theres still a problem.

i had to change

$noshutdownfunc = 0; // #CHANGE ME IF YOU CAN'T USE register_shutdown_function

to this:

$noshutdownfunc = 1; // #CHANGE ME IF YOU CAN'T USE register_shutdown_function

inorder to get it to work again. But i dont know where my functions.php file messed up.... now when i just tried to install the doubleposting hack i get a error "unindexpost" and some other hacks i cant install properly cause i switched that variable to a 1. Im lost... ive lost all hope in my VB.

what? you changed that variable in the admin/functions.php? because there really should only be a problem with the showthread.php and updating thread views... i don't believe it having anything to do with the $noshutdownfunc... if you made to many changes then simply just reload an unhacked forum... thats why its important to backup files ;) regards...

Ive never changed the showthread.php file. There isnt one hack that i have installed that required me to hack it. I tried uploading a new functions.php file and still nothing. Ill try uploading showthread.php but i dont know.

I just tried uploading a new functions.php and showthread.php and it still doesnt update post counts. Only when i change that variable to 1 does it count them. Anyone?

What are all the files that have to do with the THREAD VIEW count in forum display? I reuploaded forumdisplay.php , showthread.php and admin/functions.php and its still not counting my thread views. When someone posts a thread it says Views '0' and always says it.
