Addon to vB Flash Player - Information Listings and Game Listings...
 

What it does:

It adds 2 templates, and 2 files to your vB root...

The files have the names of all the basic games and their "?play=" name, and there is a page that has all the information, including some hex codes and screen sizes, that tell people how to modify the games/movies...

It also modifies the "error_flash" and "flash" template of Erwin's hack, located here

If someone else could provide a screenshot, thanks...This does NOT require the modification of flash.php, nor does it come with any support other than this thread...

I am working on a small adjustment, which should allow :

1.) addition of games / information via the Admin Cp (not guaranteed to happen;))
2.) making it all one .php file (working on that now)

Why do this?

I liked Erwin's hack so much, but I found that there was no listing of the games, or a listing of the information for members...Therefore, I created these pages so that they had a kind of help manual...

I'll link to this from my thread. This is a bit different to Lanigironu's hack I think. Nice to see that people are expanding on integrating Flash with vB. :)

Ah...Lanigiroun's hack...I havent installed it live yet...It is similar in ways...

Anyway...I found this not very complex, but it explains alot, and has helpful tips etc for those not familiar with HTML...:)

Yeah, mine's different... It's a bit more advanced ;).

I'm almost finished working on the next version, which will be even more advanced.

I hate to be the badguy here, but i tried a couple
of these "flash" games, in theory they are good, but
not really realistic....

Too Fast
Boulders are way to big and too fast.

not even the orginal asteroids is that quick.
in less then 30 seconds you are starting over again.

Cant complain about the grapics
you mean to tell me the bad guy never miss'es?
I miss one bad guy, and i get hit by
4-5 others, GAME OVER... most times
the game is over before 1-3 shots are
even fired... Ahh, how fun.

any game that can not be played for a
period of time is really no fun...

I think people want to enjoy a nice
3d arcade game of some type, and not
see how many asteroids or snipers
can be shot in less then 5 seconds.

nobodies mouse pad can not be that quick.
