Your search table crashed. Upload repair.php (it's in the 'extras' folder of the zip file) to your admin directory. Close your forums, then run it from your browser with this syntax:

repair.php?html=1&check=1

It everything reports 'Ok' then reopen your forums. If not, then run it again. The second time everything should report Ok. See if this fixes the problem.

repair.php didn't work as it couldn't get access, it also just seemed to do nothing too (the blue bar was loading for 5mins or more).

I had to use phpmyadmin and repair it in there, it's now fixed, thanks for your time on the answer. :)
