Require Account Revalidation

I am wanting to UNVALIDATE every users acount, and make them revalidate their account by logging into the system and reading my system message.

If they don't agree, I delete their account. If they do agree, then they continue as normal.

Basically, this needs to email all the users and they agree or disagree and needs to be done within X days. If they dont do it within X days, it will automatically delete.

I was going to use the community bulletin to generate an email to all the users and force them to read a URL, then if they didnt read it, or log in, I would delete all accounts that hadn't logged in in the past X days.

Just though somebody might wanna try and do this hack.

Thanks for listening

Thanks for any input

We're very very interested in this too :) Anyone?

Well you could change everyones account status back to User Awaiting Confirmation and then send them all emails so they have to revalidate.

Yeah Serge, that can help :) However, it would be more useful to have a web-based version of this, so everytime a user tries to post, or even enter the forum, they get the rules page: if you accept, you are fully activated, if you don't, you go to a special usergroup for "users who didn't accept the new rules"
