Invalid SQL Error: Where can i fix

Sometimes i got this error :

Invalid SQL: SELECT COUNT(*) AS messages FROM privatemessage WHERE userid= 

mysql error: You have an error in your SQL syntax near '' at line 1



mysql error number: 1064

its trying to count the private messages and im not sure but it might not be finding the userid or something... probably best getting support from vb using your license info... they'll get it answered... ;)
