Poll Voting / Results

Could someone point me in the right direction of how to:

1. Place a vote to an existing poll in vB, but outside of vB, i.e. on the homepage of a website.

2. Show the results of a poll as above on the homepage of a website.

You might try NTLDR's vbindex.php for your homepage - which includes a poll. Or maybe you can just extract the part you need?
