Attachment Directory Browser
 

What I'm looking for is a attachment browser which only the Administrator can use. This attachment browser works by displaying the attachment directory as a list, giving the Administrator the option to choose which file to view. When that file is viewed, there are also options to view the previous and next files on the list.

I have the feeling this browser can only work if the "Attachments as Files" or "Create Files From Attachments" hacks are installed, since the browser accesses a directory, not a database table.

An example is this: My forums have many image attachments. I have a "no pornography" rule enforced. To help enforce this rule, I want to view all the attachments without having to view all the threads in various forums.

Users of Windows XP can experience something like this with a directory filled with images. If you open that directory, you can open up a file, and the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer opens. At the bottom of the window, there are various buttons; two of which navigate to the previous and next files in the directory.
