Smilie Text Length Limit?
 

I've noticed that when you enter the "Text to replace" in the vB control panel, whatever your entry is, it's limited to 10 characters after submission. What's the reason behind this and is there a way to change it?

maybe its because the input size is only 10? i could be wrong but also they may have limited the smilie text also using varchar(10) for the mysql storage... you will have to check phpmyadmin and the admin/smilie.php if needed make changes to both... and im not sure if the bbcodeparse() function also requires a shorter length then 10... so you'll have to look into that as well... i don't think it should be too complicated... probably just the input size and at worst the mysql alter but thats all i for see it as... regards...

Yeah, the length was limited to 10. Two clicks and a couple keystrokes through phpMyAdmin fixed that. Thanks. :)
