mysql server questions- getting continual error too many connections!
and i am getting pretty darn sick of it!
can anyone tell me why this is happening? it is getting really frustrating- i am getting this error: Warning: Too many connections in /home/amitymes/amitymama-www/vb/admin/db_mysql.php on line 42 Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Too many connections in /home/amitymes/amitymama-www/vb/admin/db_mysql.php on line 42 i need your help! what should i watch for and tell my host?? am:) |

You need to increase your simultaneous db connections in your php config. If it's a dedicated server you can do it yourself. Otherwise, tell your host to do it for you.
Also, do a search at vbulletin.com - plenty of posts in the past about this issue. Looks like your forums have become too busy for your current config. :) |
