How to create a look like this
 
mainly im after the sidebar with whos been online today etc - i have looked here and on vbull but still aint found how to make the header and footer templates

anyone help me as been after this sort of effect for some time now

preview of how id like it but the boxes on the left hand side as to me the right just looks wrong

Looks to me like you have to do some modding of the 'forumhome' templates...

Look for firefly's hack - Who's Online in header - in the thread there is a way of adding Who's Online today in the header too.
