Is anyone working on a full fledged attachment hack like the one that is available for ubb?

The hack as it exists for ubb seems about perfect. You can attach multiple files to a post, a small icon for each file is displayed on the right of the post. The icon changes depending on the file type (zip, mp3, doc, gz, tar, etc...)

Anyone, anyone? John?

I'd really love this see this as well.... I know there are some PHP upload scripts you can use and then manually create a hyperlink in the message.... but that attachment hack for UBB was really nice and very easy to use. I think file attachments is on the "todo" list for vB, but not sure when :)

I remember someone (Herb maybe) started something similar (a forum where you can upload pics - like a gallery forum), but I would love, love, love, love, love this feature!!

i don't think anyone is working on this because people are waiting for the next release. supposedly it will be included wuth the next release of vbulletin.

Yeah dont forget there are killer features that wasn't revealed today. :)
