Admins able to view Forums as Unregistered...

There should be an option in vbadmin..to view the forum homepage, or the whole forums, as unregistered to test out security, or when you are modifying certain stuff that only unregistered can see like ads, and such. This would be good, rather then logging out, and then seeing that you have to make a change, so then you have to log back in the admin, and edit it, and this automatically makes you logged in on the forums too, then you have to logg out, and then you notice there is a mistake, and then you have to do it all over again.

If someone can do this, it would be great!

Here is what I do:

I use 2 browsers (IE and Netscape) and logged-in in one as an Admin and logged-out or logged-in as another user in the other..

But..if you have to refresh, and your logged in on admin, don't you have to log out again, and when you need to make a modification you have to logg back it, don't they use the same sessiones or whateevr

sessions are kept unique within the browser. So if you:
a) use Netscape and login as userA
and
b) use IE and login as userB (or Admin)
you will have 2 different sessions independent of eachother.. You dont need to log out to use the other account provided that browsers are different..

Ah, Thanks ;) But a hack would be good.

I am using your method right now hehe

holy crap. That would be one complicated hack. I can't even fathom how I'd do it considering you'd have to spoof the browser into thinking no one's logged in....

Maybe an a link in the admin, that adds a little header, in the file saying you are unregistered :-p
