5. Run /admin/install_karma.php(run upgrade_karma.php if you have installed the previous version)

I'm worthless with this stuff, but how do I run that? Is it from the ftp or, is it from the admin cp...

Upload install_karma.php to the admin folder, and go to it in your browser (i.e http://www.yoursite.com/forums/admin/install_karma.php).

When it gives me all of those things, like change this here, I have to do that manually, correct?

Yes, you will need to manually open the files and find the code, then modify it with the code stated in the install file or on the install page.
