I sudenly started gettin this message wen editin user info in my CP, what can i do?

Database error in vBulletin Control Panel 2.2.4:

Invalid SQL: SELECT userid
FROM user
WHERE username='I Got 2 Go'
AND userid <>
mysql error: You have an error in your SQL syntax near '' at line 4

mysql error number: 1064

as i see you use vb224

this is a known bug with php4.2.x and vb<226.

you should upgrade to vb226 to solve the problem

I cant, because i will loose all my hacks, what a catch 22, it took so long for me to add them, what can i do?

you can upload the three files from this thread, but i'd strongly advise you to upgrade because of security reasons too

Update to 226 and then re add the hacks I know its gonan suck but upgrading is the only way u can solve that error! Face it ive been through that 1 :p

omg, can n e 1 help? i cant even remember all the hacks i added... i dont undastand why we cant upgrade and keep the edited php files, but upgrade the rest...

as i told you, you can just upload the fix posted at vb.com, but it would be much better to upgrade to newest version

how many hacks have you installed at your board?
normally it doesn't take more than one hour to upgrade when you have installed about 50 hacks...

less than 10 hacks but im a novice...

rapdis... this is Mist... i cud help u out like ive always sed if u wish... re-doing all the hacks ....

just use beyound compare. and 10 hacks isent to much to worry about ;). i upgrade with about 40 - 60 every new release.
