Trying to reduce queries (Done templates)

I currently have 39 queries it was 41 until i went through index.php and updated the $templatesused

on all of the other pages it is between 18-26.

Any suggestions on where else to look

Well this is liable to make you feel better ... I just installed the vbMicroStats hack and discovered that I have over 160 queries on the main forums page! :O Obviously I have a problem somewhere ... but is there someway to narrow it down without having to undo every single hack??? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Well -- I finally found it ... somehow I goofed up something in the Welcome Panel hack -- I uninstalled it and redid it step by step. I now only have 23 queries. Whew!

Did you tie the 3 pm queries together where it will only do one query instead of 3? That will knock a couple more off for you. :) I went from 39 to 35 by doing that and a couple of the template declaractions (in $templatesused).
