hi chen,
i know that long time ago i sad that karma is not really a good idea for vB.org...
i changed my mind. :)
i think it would be a good idea because we will see who is truly a bad person and who is good...

anyone else want to see, in beta test, vB3 Karma at vB.org?
post away if yes or no. maybe we convince firefly to install it. :)

also, can you let us know at least how the vB3 Karma works? thanks.

I would like to see it. It might be a nice addon... I dont know what else to say but if not its no biggie.

I don't even use the current karma hack, so I have no idea. I would have to try it out first, as I do most of my hacks, before I surely know if I, and my members, like it. I'll have to go 50/50.

I don't think unpopular equals bad. To me, the Karma hack (slash feature) smells too much of mob rule (as opposed to the enlightened leadership of my moderators ;))

the vb3 karma is overgrow's karma hack... :)

Well I don't mind at all actually, as long as there is an option to turn it off. ;)

People who use Vbulletin for commercial use probably wouldn't want to have this feature, so allowing a option to turn it off (and it should be default off) would be cool :)

it is an option like that. you can turn it on or off in admin CP.

Vb3...it seems like a distance dream...

but, as I've read it's due to come out before September, if I'm not mistaken. Then *evil sinister laugh begins* Vbulletin can show the world their supreme power.

Last I heard they said beta.jelsoft.com would probably be opened sometime in September.

Then would come the battle testing period...

Then probably a beta release...

If anyone's read anything more recent on vb.com, please do post... (this was, what, two days ago I think...).
