Changing color or image for each category
 

Hi,

I would like to insert a different image or define a different color for each category on the front page. Does anyone know how this is possible?

Is it necessary to write a hack? If so, how can this be done and what does this entail (I have no idea how to do this).

By default, with vBulletin (or any other board for that matter), do this to the categories. I suggest making a request for hack that will let you do so as you wish :).
