Does anyone know why i have this error?

I'm not very clued up on php or html and i use Fireworks and Dreamweaver to build my site.

Simply cut and pasted the php code from the index.php and placed it into a cell.

Dreamweaver is no the best tool to use in order to edit your website with as it adds a good deal of extra code (from what I have heard), I would suggest using notepad or another editor (that does not add extra coding to your pages or current code).
