guests can only view index
 

Is there a hack available where "guests" can view the main forum index,but when they click on one of the forum links the registration page pops up,instead of getting the
"There have been no posts in the last ## days in this forum".

Just use vbulletins usergroup permissions ;) that'll get you where you're looking :)

I know how to set the usergroup permissions.
I have allowed guests to view the board,but not read threads.
My question was,when they click on a forum link instead of getting the "There have been no posts in the last ## days in this forum" page,I want them to see the registration page instead.
