Error with User ID...
 

I let me friend edit/replace a file long time ago, and I just noticed the prob, my forums has only 232 members, but a persons id is like 13237.

???

perhaps s.o. has added this user manually to the db, and has given him this userid :)

I just checked, and all my new joiners...after 200 and maybe before 200 members are eperiencing this.

well it's not really a problem....

if the next autoincrement was set once to a higher level, it won't decrease anymore automatically, so all new users will get such a high id..
but as said, it's not really a problem, just an unestetical thing

I also installed the Store Hack by lesane, and when people refer with there 4 digit id's, they do not get the credit, nor do they appear in vbstats. .-.

hmm, i think its a problem with lesanes store hack, don't know i don't use it :)

but as i said, high ids are normally no problem, just doesn't look good

If you think its that much of a problem then just backup your forum and then drop the user table... then reinsert the user table and change all the userids manually ;p thats only thing i can think of ;) hope that helps
